Welcome to theWindow of Opportunity: Preserving Affordable Rental Housing resource bank.  Created by CFED with grant support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, this new on-line resource is designed to gather, showcase and share critical information, organizational contacts and other resources to help preserve and improve the nation’s diminishing stock of low-cost rental homes.

We invite your comments, contributions, suggestions and partnership.  Across the country today, successful preservation projects are on the rise and model policies are taking shape at local, state and federal levels.  We hope this site will make it easier to stay abreast of these exciting developments and to help public officials, community leaders, investors and others connect with leading preservation experts and practitioners.
