assets & opportunity campaign

Coinciding with release of the 2007-2008 Assets & Opportunity Scorecard, CFED launched the first national Assets & Opportunity Campaign. The Campaign was initiated to coordinate and direct outreach and distribution of Scorecard materials and messages to new audiences and to the media. The number of Scorecard partners, first enlisted in 2005, was increased from five to 10.

The Assets & Opportunity Campaign features efforts – through partnerships, convenings, presentations and briefings, and media placements – to disseminate the data and findings from the 2007-2008 Scorecard to a national audience of advocates, policymakers, funders, business leaders and others.  The Campaign also includes advocacy efforts by CFED, its official Campaign partners and others centered on the asset-building policies highlighted in the 2007-2008 Scorecard, which, for the first time, features a comprehensive state asset policy agenda and a comprehensive policy ratings system.
